New Build with Classic Character

This project started as a renovation of an older house, but as conditions changed, it became a completely new build. Our goal was to create a home with the same soul and character as the original turn-of-the-century house, one that feels timeless and natural, as if it had always been there. We worked closely with the architect and the builder throughout the project.

Studio A3 developed a complete interior design concept, including all material and color selections for the home. Classic moldings, trim, and doors create an architectural foundation that, together with a calm and harmonious color palette, gives the house a genuine, well-balanced look. Natural, earthy colors serve as the base, while furniture, art, and décor add warmth and personality.

We designed the kitchen, all the bathroom vanities, and several custom built-ins, including mudroom storage and built-in benches in the dining area and on the glass-enclosed porch. Each solution was designed specifically for this house to create a natural whole with high functionality and a tailored look.

Studio A3 was also responsible for the furniture and supplied the lighting, textiles, and décor to create a complete, carefully considered result. The result is a warm, inviting home where classic architecture meets modern living, with an attention to detail that makes the house feel both timeless and completely at home in its surroundings.
